Services
Funding And Referral Pathways
OT For Veterans
Access Matters Occupational Therapy provides in-home OT services for eligible veterans and war widows under the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). Through the Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP), we assess your functional needs and prescribe clinically appropriate equipment or home modifications to support safety, independence and participation in what matters most to you.
Medicare
Occupational therapy may be accessed under a GP Chronic Disease Management Plan, which provides Medicare rebates for eligible clients. While we do not offer bulk billing, clients can claim a rebate through their GP care plan. A gap fee will apply, depending on the service provided.
Private Occupational Therapy
Gives you the flexibility to access support directly, without needing a GP care plan. Services can also be accessed with or without private health insurance, making it easy to get the help you need when you need it. We provide functional assessments, home safety reviews, and practical recommendations on a fee for service basis.
Telehealth Services
Telehealth Occupational Therapy can be accessed with or without a referral and is delivered through secure video or audio calls, providing flexible support wherever you are.

Testimonials
What our patients say about us
“I contacted Bec to complete a functional capacity assessment for my father who was showing signs of forgetfulness. Her knowledge and patience was evident in her ability to assess and interact with my elderly father to complete a detailed report for his specialist. I would highly recommend Bec.”
Jo L.
"Bec was really efficient with measuring up and getting our grab rails installed. She had some other really great ideas about ways to improve our safety at home. We look forward to continue working with access matters in the future."
Diane M.
"You can tell Bec genuinely cares about the work she does. She took the time to understand my needs, and went above and beyond to make sure the equipment was right."
